Assign iOS devices: Push notifications on smartphones, tablets & smartwatches

Last updated: 27. November, 2025

In order for push messages to be displayed on mobile devices, the devices must first be assigned to a person in the “echo charlie” who block. At the same time, notifications must be allowed in the settings.

Carry out the following instructions with the smartphone or tablet on which you want to receive push messages.

Assigning a device to a person

First make sure that the person to whom a device is to be assigned already exists as a button in the Who block. In this example, we will assign an Android device to the person “Robin“:

To assign a device, click on the bell symbol(1) in the top right-hand corner and then open the “Select elements” dropdown(2):

In the drop-down menu, select the person to whom the device should be assigned (in this example “Robin“; 3) and then click on “OK”(4):

Attention, multiple selections are possible.

Finally, check whether the assignment is correct(5) and confirm the process with “OK”(6)
