Allow background use
For “echo charlie” to work properly, the app activity must be allowed in the background.
Open the settings of your device and select the “Apps” tab:

Select “Echo Charlie call system” from the list of apps:

Click on “Battery usage of the app”:

Activate “Allow background use”:

Then click on the back arrow and also deactivate “Stop app activity when not in use” in the app info:

Allow notifications
To receive push notifications, you must allow all notifications from the app.
Open the settings of your device and select the “Apps” tab:

Select “Echo Charlie call system” from the list of apps:

Click on “Authorizations”:

Select “Notifications”

Activate “All notifications from Echo Charlie call system”

Deactivate Android sleep mode
Important: You can find the corresponding setting in the developer options. If the developer options are not visible on your Android end device, you must first activate them.
Open the “Settings” on your Android device.
Scroll down to the menu item “About phone” or “About tablet”.
Tap on “Build number” several times in succession:

The “Developer options” are now activated.
You will then find the developer options under the “System” entry:

Activate the “Keep screen active” option.
Your smartphone or tablet will no longer go into sleep mode while charging and the display will remain active.
